In the fall of 2018, Wim Smits, a retired Ontario Environmental Officer, was diagnosed with Primary Myelofibrosis (PM). He and his wife Harriet Randall, a retired high school teacher, created the PM HOPE FUND to support new research, better treatment options and hopefully find a cure. Wim and Harriet will generously match every dollar donated, up to $10,000.00. Thank you. Your donation is greatly needed and much appreciated.
The CMPN Research Foundation has a single goal: to stimulate original research in pursuit of new treatments -- and eventually a cure -- for polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia and myelofibrosis, known collectively as myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs).
